Palatine
Park District operates a weight room, tots classroom, and multipurpose
gymnasium. Northeast Palatine Resource Network operates two shared
classrooms, and a preschool childcare room. Northwest Community
Healthcare operates the Vista Health Center in conjunction with
the Cook County Department of Public Health. A branch of the Palatine
Library provides circulation of 6,000 items with special emphasis
on materials in the Spanish language. The Bridge Youth and Family
Services serve person/families in youth related crisis intervention
and long term individual family counseling. CEDA (Community Economic
Development Association) provides information about housing, utilities
assistance, job placement, career education and more. Palatine
Police Department provides short-term individual, family and group
counseling, domestic violence, court advocacy, referrals and community
education.WIC (Women, Infants & Children) links women and
their children with service related early childhood nutrition
and health issues. Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council provides
clients 55 or older with individual, advocacy, support and linkage
and referral services.
