Swim Team Coordinator/Head Coach

The Palatine Tiger Shark Swim Team/Palatine Park District is recruiting for an exempt, year-round, full-time/full-benefited Swim Team Coordinator/Head Coach. Prior swim team head coaching experience required. Current and active membership in US Swimming Incorporated and American Swimming Coaches Association certification; along with American Red Cross certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Coaches Safety Training required. The Palatine Park District Tiger Sharks Swim Team is always recruiting enthusiastic and knowledgeable coaches to join our team. We are a growing team of 220-260 athletes ranging from the pre-competitive level to Olympic Trial qualifiers. We are a year-round program run through the Palatine Park District and are members of both USA Swimming and Illinois Swimming. Qualified candidates will work with swimmers both in a practice and competition setting. Therefore, candidates must posses a good knowledge of stroke instruction, a positive demeanor, and show a passion for swimming and coaching.
