2012-2013 School Year

Our state licensed Preschool for 3, 4, and 5 year olds provides a warm, accepting environment where learning is fun. Experienced teachers offer a variety of developmentally appropriate activities designed to help children learn and grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. The curriculum includes art, music, science, large and small motor development, imaginative play, and pre-kindergarten skills. Children must be completely toilet trained (no diapers or pull-ups).

• Children who will be at least 4 by December 31, 2012 may enroll at Eagle Park.

• A class for young three year olds is offered at Maple Park on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. This class is for children who turn three between 1/1/12 and 11/1/12.

• A Pre-Kindergarten class is offered at Parkside on Monday through Thursday afternoons. This class is for children turning five before 3/1/13.

Registration Deadline

Returning Participant Registration: CURRENTLY ENROLLED in Palatine Park District Preschool will be placed in a priority lottery for 2012-2013 school year.

New Participant Lottery (Resident Only):
Beginning February 6, 2012 children not currently enrolled in our Preschool may obtain a Preschool registration form at the Birchwood Recreation Center,Community Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center. Mail or drop off the completed form with your payment. A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate must be presented at the time of registration. The child cannot be registered without it. All registrations received through February 16 will be in this lottery. Registration received after February 16 will be processed with open registration at Birchwood Recreation Center.

Open Registration (Residents and Non-Residents):
Residents and non-residents must register IN PERSON AT BIRCHWOOD RECREATION CENTER ONLY beginning February 21, 2012.

A $45 non-refundable, non-transferable processing fee is required with your registration.
