On October 13, 2020, the Palatine Park District Board of Commissioners accepted a letter of resignation from Commissioner Nick Sawyer. Long time Palatine resident, Greg Sammons, was selected to fill the vacant seat.
Bridge Replacement Project Concludes Along Palatine Trail

In 2019, Palatine Park District was the recipient of a $200,000 Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) bike trail grant that allowed the District to replace two bridges, as well as asphalt on an extended portion of the Palatine Trail. This project began in August of 2020 and was completed on November 3, 2020.

Vote For Your Favorite Way to Play at Maple Park Playground

Palatine Park District invites the community to be a part of the decision-making process as staff members select the final amenities for the playground at Maple Park, 316 N. Winston Drive. The playground is scheduled for replacement later this fall pending weather conditions. Voting will close at 11:59pm on Saturday, August 8, 2020.
Palatine Park District Replacing Bridges Along Palatine Trail as Part of IDNR Grant

As a recipient of the IDNR (Illinois Department of Natural Resources) Grant in 2019, Palatine Park District will start construction on August 3 to improve the Palatine Bike Trail.
