As we refocus and prepare for more in-person programming, we continue to make sure Palatine Park District is facilitating safe and responsible classes.
Colleen Palmer, Assistant Superintendent of Recreation
Palatine Park District has started to expand its program offerings moving into August. This includes safely re-opening the fitness center, introducing in-person classes and personal training, parent and tot programs, a wide amount of athletic classes, dance programming, gymnastics training, and even starting swim team practices. Our entire listing of classes and programs can be found in our recently published August Monthly Program Catalog. Registration is currently open through Palatine Park District’s registration website. Classes will be available for all ages and will offer fun, exciting, educational outlets all summer. “As we refocus and prepare for more in-person programming, we continue to make sure Palatine Park District is facilitating safe and responsible classes,” said Assistant Superintendent of Recreation Colleen Palmer.
Phase four has allowed for local businesses to expand their offerings, though there are still many required guidelines that must be followed to provide in-person programming and services to the public. This will include wearing of PPE, increased personal and common area disinfection, and social distancing.
A household account is required to register for programs, memberships, and events online. Simply select “Create a Household” from under the Register Online tab. Once the household has been submitted, staff will review and activate the new account.
