Notice of Availability of Proposed Budget for 2023

Notice is hereby given that the proposed 2023 budget and appropriation ordinance of the Palatine Park District, Cook County, Illinois, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2023 and ending December 31, 2023 is available for public review. The budget and appropriation ordinance is scheduled for formal approval on December 13, 2023 during the Palatine Park District regular meeting of the Board of Park Commissioners.
Inspection may also be made at the administrative office of the Park District, 250 E. Wood Street, Palatine, Illinois 60067, from 8:30am until 4:30pm from Monday through Friday.
The Palatine Park District will disclose public records as required by the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. § 552. The District can deny a request for records that are specifically exempt from coverage under the Act, including information that would constitute an unwarranted invasion of personal privacy or a compromise of security.

In 2019, the Illinois General Assembly passed Public Act 101-0504 (an act concerning public employee benefits) requiring public posting of information by the Fund.
Itemized Compensation Report & Annual Leave Allotment
In accordance with IL Public Act 0097-0609; the Palatine Park District has made available an itemized compensation report including annual leave allotment for all employees whose compensation package is over $75,000.
