Palatine Park District’s 18-hole, 6,800 yard championship course offers clinics, leagues, and lessons. For golf rates, tee times, practice range information, and course conditions, visit palatinehills.org or call the Pro Shop at 847.359.4020.

Golf Clinics

Register Online for Golf Clinics

Parent & Child Golf Clinic | Ages 6-17 with Parent
Instruction offered in three areas: short game, putting, and full shots. Clinic is offered in the late spring only.

Ladies Golf Clinic | Ages 18+
Designed for ladies new to golf and interested in developing the comfort level and confidence on the golf course. Clinics begin with an orientation of the facility and an explanation of terms to aid understanding of the game. Instruction of the basic golf swing will be taught at an appropriate pace for new golfers.

Short Game Clinic | Ages 18+
Come take advantage of receiving instruction at our beautiful, new Short Game Area. Clinic begins with an orientation of the facility, including Short Game Area, Driving Range, and Putting Green. Putting, chipping, pitching, and sand play will be taught at an appropriate pace for all levels of golfers. Clubs are available for students who need them. Sign-up early! Space is limited.

Golf Leagues

Palatine Hills Junior Golf League | Ages 10-15
League provides an opportunity to have fun golfing, meet other junior golfers, and learn golf etiquette and rules. New league members are required to attend a scheduled orientation before participating.

PGA Junior League Golf | Ages 8-16
Designed to bring a “Little League” atmosphere to the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls, PGA Junior League Golf provides a structured league environment for young golfers to compete and have fun. Feeder classes are held in the summer and fall. There is also a fall postseason class.

Golf Lessons

Junior Golf Lessons | Ages 8-15
Designed to jump-start kids with the basic skills of golf. Topics covered will be set-up, full swing, driving the ball, chipping, course etiquette, and how to use the golf facility. Clubs are available for students who need them. Lessons are offered in late spring and early-to-mid summer.

Adult Golf Lessons | Ages 16+
Classes are intended to help participants get started golfing or tune up their game and cover set-up, swing, short game, putting, and driving. Clubs are available for students who need them. Lessons are offered in the spring and summer.

Skyhawks Golf Camp | Ages 5-9
Skyhawks Golf focuses on building the confidence of young athletes through proper technique and refining the essential skills of the game. All equipment is provided. Visit skyhawks.com for more information.

Private lessons are available by appointment. Call the Pro Shop to schedule lessons with a member of the Palatine Hills Golf Course professional staff.
