Guests must be 18 years or older to access Health and Recreation Center (HRC) unless participating in an instructional program, special event, or utilizing the pool. All children 13 and under are to be escorted to the HRC Welcome Desk by a parent/guardian. Convenient drop off parking is provided just outside the HRC (Building M) main entrance.
All HRC program participants will be issued a key fob which will be presented and swiped at the Welcome Desk with each visit. Parents/guardians that are not members of HRC but wish to walk their children beyond the Welcome Desk will be issued a non-member key tag.
It is recommended that parents visit HRC or any Park District facility prior to the first day of class to obtain key fobs. This process will include creating a household file including photo ID & signed waiver.
Non-participating youth and parents (guests) are restricted to public areas of HRC, which include the upper level lobby and the natatorium spectator seating that overlooks the pool.
Any groups or organizations interested in utilizing the facility must reach out to Jessica Paneral, Aquatics Coordinator – Health and Recreation Center.
When not participating in a supervised aquatics program, children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult while visiting HRC. This policy also applies to Open Swim.
