Palatine Park District parties feature creative staff, terrific ideas, and a great setting to make your child’s birthday memorable. Each party package includes a two-hour facility rental, themed activities, activity materials, and an assistant for the first hour. The instructor will be scheduled to start 15 minutes after your booked party. This will insure all guests have arrived to enjoy the activities. You supply the food, beverages, paper goods, and guests—we will supply the fun!

Active Parties
Bounce House Party
Bounce house parties are exclusively held at Birchwood Recreation Center. Party consists of 2 hours of access to the bounce house and gym for food and drink. Staff will set up and take down the bounce house. Parents supervise play in the bounce house.

Nerf® Adventure Party
Experience the thrill and adventure of team and individual based Nerf® contests at Falcon Park. The turf will be transformed into a battlefield complete with home bases and obstacles. Players can cycle between capture the flag, team elimination, and individual free-for-all. All games will be organized and officiated by Park District staff. Only Park District provided darts will be allowed. All participants must wear full eye protection. The Park District will provide eye protection if needed. All participants receive a bandana. Time on the turf is one hour, followed by one hour of party room time.

Inflatable Obstacle Course
Party consist of on hour of access to the obstacle course on half turf or half gym and one hour in a banquet room. Palatine Park District staff will set up and take down the obstacle course. Parents are responsible for obstacle course supervision.

Gym Sports Party
The gym can host indoor sports and games tailored to your child’s preferences. Our hosts will set up and referee everything including basketball, dodgeball, or floor hockey.

Gymnastics Party
Party consists of one hour inside gymnastics center. Choose from an open gym or lightly structured gymnastics activities and games. Child participants younger than 3 years must be accompanied by a guardian.

Toddler Gym Party
Toddlers will love this party full of play time on our toddler gym equipment.

Turf Sports Party
Party time on the indoor turf will include your child’s choice of soccer, football, dodgeball, kickball, and more.

Ultimate Party
The Ultimate party package includes 4 hours of action and features NERF Adventure, Bubble Soccer, Inflatable, and Turf Sports. Time is split between party room and activity space. Party attendees will rotate between all activities.

Games & Magic Parties
Balloon Animal Party
Balloon animals are a huge hit at birthday parties! Your party can have balloon animals made non-stop for 45 minutes by the Magic Team of Gary Kantor who will make dogs, butterflies, swords, giraffes, and more. Kids will do more than just play with balloons, they’ll also get to decorate their animals with stickers and markers. At the end of the party all kids will take home their very own collection of assorted balloon animals.

Creative Craft Party
The party lead will show you painting techniques, various jewel, and ribbon embellishment tricks and lots of laughs! Each participant gets a choice of a treasure chest or birdhouse. A great souvenir from your party that attendees will always cherish.

Canvas Paint Party
Party consists of paints, brushes, canvases, and instructions for the participants. Pick your theme and watch it come to life on canvas! A great no-mess and no-fuss offering, plus participants take home their masterpiece.

Magic Party
Magician Gary Kantor will entertain with vanishing acts, card tricks, and much more in an interactive show. The show is packed with lots of audience participation and laughter, and the birthday child will be the star of the show.

Pee Wee Magic & Balloons Party
Magician Gary Kantor presents a thrilling magic and balloon animal show specifically tailored for this younger age group. Gary’s magic will use stuffed animal characters from popular cartoon shows to amaze the children. You can even bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal and make it part of the show. Balloon animals will be made for every child to take home after the show.

Outdoor Pools
Pool rentals are available at all three of the Palatine Park District pools:
Rental options and available times vary by facility. Some of the options include after hours rentals, parties during regular hours, and picnic area rental. Party packages including concessions only or concessions, admission and picnic area are also available at the Family Aquatic Center.

Palatine Hills Golf Course
Celebrate your child's birthday party at Palatine Hills Golf Course. Parties are for children ages 6-13 and offer two hours of fun including golf instruction or FootGolf, golf contests, prizes, and food.

Palatine Stables
Pony parties are perfect for the horse lover in your family! Pony parties offer two full hours of magical memories and fun including pony rides, pony "prettying" playtime, and an area for post pony partying for 4 to 12 children. You provide the food, beverages, and paper goods.
Parties are available year-round on Saturday and Sunday from 12:00-2:00pm or 2:30-4:30pm. Pony rides will take place in the indoor arena during the winter. Pony Parties are designed for children ages 1-10 who are under 4'6" tall. Adult supervision is required.
