How do I complete the required criminal background check?
Once you have submitted a completed volunteer application, you will receive an email with a link to complete a criminal background check. If you do not have access to a computer, you can complete a background check form and submit it to the Volunteer Coordinator.
How old must I be to volunteer?
Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Any volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parental signature to volunteer.
What is the Volunteer time commitment?
This is up each individual. Some volunteers may wish to volunteer in the same capacity on a regular basis for a period of time, such as one day a week. Others may find that volunteering for special events fits better with their schedule. When you volunteer for a special event, your volunteer status is your ticket to the event. Many people choose to volunteer at an annual event year after year.

Volunteers will be contacted by the event coordinator or volunteer coordinator as soon as event updates or changes are determined.
Who do I contact, in an emergency, on a day I am volunteering?
Volunteers are given event coordinator contact information on their volunteer assignment sheet. For unforeseen occurrences, please inform the appropriate contact person as soon as possible to let them know you will be absent.
