Palatine Park District Brings Back Park Quest by Popular Demand

We encourage families and friends to explore their hometown and discover things about Palatine they may have never known. It’s a great way to spend a day outside this fall.

Do you like to explore? Do you like to solve puzzles and compete in events? Palatine Park Quest may be the event for you! Palatine Park District is humbled to be able to serve the village of Palatine with recreation opportunities, first-class facilities, and open spaces that highlight our beautiful community. To honor these parks and facilities, we have decided to being back our community-wide Park Quest.

On September 18, 2021, Palatine Park District will test your knowledge of the town, your puzzle solving abilities, and help motivate you to get out of the house. The Park Quest will begin at 10:00am and we plan to have all teams finish by 1:00pm. Teams will consist of individual cars as they try to navigate clues and activities on their way to the finish line. Registration cost is $20 per vehicle, but participants will receive a $10 house credit for signing up. Space is limited to forty vehicles, so make sure you register today! Every team that successfully navigates our course will earn a prize pack for their participation. On your journey, you will visit prominent locations as we showcase Palatine Park District amenities, both old and new.

Registration is now open and available online, or in person at Birchwood Recreation Center, Community Center, and Falcon Park Recreation Center. If you don’t have an account already with Palatine Park District, select “Create a Household” under the Register Online tab. Once the household has been submitted, staff will review and activate the new account.
