Sammy Stuffy Giveaway at Hometown Fest Parade

June 27, 2023

Catch a Shining Star and …Win a Stuffed Sammy the Squirrel

Get ready for bands, floats, and all shades of red, white, and blue at Palatine’s Hometown Fest Parade on Saturday, July 1. The parade steps off at 11:00am so be sure to watch for Palatine Park District’s float. You might catch a glimpse of Sammy the Squirrel, Palatine Park District’s beloved mascot. Sammy and friends will be giving away red, silver, and blue squeezable stars. Check your star for a sticker. A limited number of stars will contain a sticker with instructions to pick up your very own Sammy stuffed animal. Follow instructions on the sticker to pick up Sammy at Community Center, Birchwood Recreation Center, or Falcon Park Recreation Center.

When you claim your Sammy, our staff would love to take your picture to share on Palatine Park District’s social media! Don’t delay…you have until Tuesday, August 1, 2023, to claim your prize.

Good luck and see you at the parade!
