Welcome to Bike Palatine Club!

The Bike Palatine Club is a non-profit organization with a mission to make our community more bicycle-friendly.

Casual Rides

The Casual Bike Rides are a fun and social cycling event designed for riders 16+ of all skill levels!

Whether you’re looking to explore scenic routes, stay active, or meet fellow cycling enthusiasts, this program offers a relaxed and enjoyable experience on two wheels. Helmets are required.

Dates: 5/12-9/3

Tuesday: Ride leaves from Birchwood Park @ 6:30pm (gather at 6:15pm) Route is south of NW HWY/14

Thursday: Ride leaves from Palatine Library @ 6:30pm (gather at 6:15pm) Route is north of NW HWY/14

Ride Routes

  • These are a compilation of rides that our leaders have done with the club or on our own that are family friendly.
  • The Bike Palatine Club’s Route Library is housed on the Bike Palatine Club page on Ride With GPS.  Our routes are available for public viewing and use.
    • They were created by BPC Ride Leaders for use on a club ride.
  • The Bike Palatine Club assumes no liability for cyclists using these routes; cyclists assume a risk when using these routes identical to the risks assumed on all other roadways.

  • Bike Palatine Club Members may enjoy special file sharing and downloading privileges for these routes by joining the Bike Palatine Club page on RWGPS. 
    • Information on how to join and/or create a personal account on RWGPS may be found after logging into this BPC site and accessing Member Benefits under the Members Only tab.

  • Free Weekly Casual Rides:
    • We offer free casual rides every Tuesday and Thursday from Mother’s Day through Labor Day throughout the greater Palatine area. 
    • We have ridden in:
      • The Deer Grove Forest Preserve
      • The Palatine Park public trails
      • Streets of Palatine and Inverness and into Rolling Meadows and Hoffman Estates!
