On March 21, 2020, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker initiated his shelter in place order. Since the initial order, it has been extended until May 30. However, it is still unclear when shelter in place will be lifted. Due to this continual uncertainty surrounding our eventual return. the Park District has made the decision to pause hiring and start dates for all positions.
