About The Preschool Program

preschool classroom

Our state-licensed preschool for children ages 3–5 provides a warm, accepting environment where learning is fun. Experienced teachers offer a variety of developmentally appropriate activities designed to help children learn and grow socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. Children must be completely toilet trained and be self-sufficient in the bathroom (no diapers or pull-ups) to attend preschool.

Our curriculum has been based on the Early Learning Standards from the Illinois State Board of Education. Visit our Preschools.

Payment Information:

  • $60.00 non-refundable, non-transferable processing fee is required with registration.
  • For children new to Palatine Park District Preschools, a copy of the child’s birth certificate will be required when registering in person. Those registering online must present the birth certificate before school begins.
  • Preschool payments are made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). EFT information is due at time of registration.
  • Tuition is made in eight (8) monthly payments. The first month’s tuition is processed on June 1. Tuition is debited on the 15th of the prior month from September through March.
