Music On Stage presents the first community theatre production of Arthur and Friends Make a Musical.
Arthur Read—the character who has captured the hearts of millions—has entertained generations through books and television, and now he’s making his way to the stage! From his iconic glasses to his timeless adventures with friends, Arthur is a character everyone knows and loves. Now, for the first time, he’s tackling his biggest challenge yet: putting on a musical!
Big things are happening at Lakewood Elementary School! Mr. Ratburn’s class is asked to write and perform a big show for all of Elwood City. Everyone is so excited! Everyone, except for Arthur. What should he do? Arthur feels more nervous as the big performance gets closer and closer. With the help of his family and friends Buster, Brain, Francine, Muffy – and even little sister D.W. – Arthur learns the importance of being his best, unique self.
Arthur & Friends Make a Musical runs approximately 1 hours and 45 minutes, with a 15 minute intermission
